Through my various internships and technical extracurriculars, I have gained hands-on experience in mechical design, project management, large-scale manufacturing, CAE analysis, and much more. These opporunties have given me exposure to the automotive, aerospace, datacenter industries.
On this page, there are brief descriptions of each of the engineering roles I have held. See the project section for more technical details on my extracurricular work!
Integration Engineer Intern - (May 2025 to August 2025)
At SpaceX, I worked under the Starship Final Integration team for a 3-month internship. In this role, I worked on creating manufacturing planning, troubleshooting build issues in real time, and designed manufacturing tooling. I owed the manufacturing planning for retrofit operations, and worked with technicans and design engineers when issues came up on the assembly line. Additionally, I utilized Siemens NX and ANSYS Mechnical to design tooling to make the build process more streamlines.
Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op - (May 2024 to December 2024)
At Rivian Automotive, I worked with the General Assembly Manufacturing Engineering team for a 8-month internship. I worked with the conveyance subteam to develop a new greenfield general assembly line for a new vehicle line. I developed and iterated full shop layouts using AutoCAD, meeting the requirements of equipment design and cross-function a teams. Additionally, I assisted in the development of RFQs/SOWs for equipment vendors, and created conceptual equipment designs using CATIA V6. Finally, I worked with product development teams to design equipment that met product tolerances and passed FEM simulations.
Project Engineer Intern - (May 2023 to August 2023)
At Vantage Data Centers, I worked with the project management team for a 3-month internship. I worked overseeing the construction of a 75MW hyperscale data center, coordinated day-to-day and long term tasks with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure an on time job. Additionally, I drafted project authorizations and managed technical document approval workflows to prevent roadbloaks.
Lead Chassis Engineer - (May 2023 to May 2025)
At Longhorn Racing, UT Austin's Formula SAE team, I served as the lead chassis engineer. For two seperate seasons, I lead the design, analysis, and manufacturing of our steel spaceframe. I utilized SolidWorks to design and package the vehicle assembly, working with cross-functional systems to ensure everything fits. Hand-calculations and ANSYS Mechanical where used to analyze the structural integrity of the chassis. Additionally, I oversaw the design of welding jigs, and welding itself of the spaceframe and all attachment linkages.
Chassis Engineer - (September 2023 to May 2023)
As a member on Longhorn Racing, I worked on various design and manufacturing subprojects. I utilized SolidWorks to design assemblies, jigs, and tooling. Additionally, I used ANSYS Mechanical to quantify and compare designs stiffness and strengths.
Lead Mechanical Engineer - (July 2020 to July 2022)
At FRC Team 670, I served as the Lead Mechanical Engineer. I was responsible for overseeing the entire design and manufacturing cycle of competition robots. I managed the Autodesk Fusion 360 modeling and system integration, ensuring all mechanisms seemlessly interacted with eachother. I worked hands-on with design and system integration, taught curriculum on fundamental engineering skills to new members.
Mechanical Engineer - (September 2018 to July 2020)
As an engineer of the Mechanical team, I worked the design and manufacturing of systems on the competition robotics. I modeled prototypes and robotic mechanisms using Autodesk Fusion 360, and machined them in-house. Additionally, I lead a small team of engineers in the development of a game-piece indexing mechanism.
